Advisory team leaves Wells Fargo for Raymond James
Team managed more than $170 million and say move will fuel their business.

Two former Wells Fargo Advisors have jumped ship to join joined Raymond James Financial Services, the the firm’s independent advisor channel.

Based in Massapequa Park, New York, Scott T. Mulford and Melissa Minikes previously managed over $170 million in client assets while at Wells Fargo. The pair are joined by client service associate AnnMarie DeFabio.

Mulford began his career in financial services in 2017 at Wells Fargo. He received an undergraduate degree from Baruch College and an MBA at Molloy College. Since then, he’s gained a comprehensive approach to wealth management, risk management and estate planning to individuals, families and businesses.

Minikes comes to Raymond James with more than 22 years of experience as an advisor. According to her BrokerCheck report, she started her career in 2001 at Edward Jones, then joined Wells Fargo in 2006. She received an MBA in finance from Adelphi University.

Mulford said moving to Raymond James was based on finding the best fit to help support him and Minikes to fuel their business.

“The individuals I have met at the firm have shown the dedication and drive to do just that,” he said in a statement. “I also want to ensure that my father’s legacy of helping others through this business will continue for decades to come,” said Mulford.
