Compass Financial Resources, an Olathe, Kan.-based broker-dealer whose 10 advisers manage $340 million in client assets, has affiliated its office of supervisory jurisdiction with Securities America. Compass, which has offices in Hutchinson, Kan., and Lincoln, Neb., has a 10-employee support staff and was previously affiliated with National Planning Corp. Its president, Russ Lane, also heads Ameritime, a registered investment adviser that provides Kansas School District employees and administrators with information and guidance regarding the state's pension system.
