Kingsview Partners has welcomed a former long-time Edward Jones advisor as its latest independent partner and wealth advisor.

Terry Hoppmann, AAMS, operates his firm from Powell, Ohio, and with his previous firm he managed client assets of approximately $368 million and generated $2.2 million in annual revenue. He began his wealth management career in 2002 and spent more than 22 years with Edward Jones.

Kingsview recently expanded its national footprint, opening a new office in Mountain Home, Arkansas, led by another former Edward Jones advisor and ex-marine, Andy Farmer.

Partnering with independent advisory practices and directly acquiring wealth and asset management focused RIAs is a dual strategy for Kingsview, which has also recently made some changes to its executive team to prepare for growth.

Josh Lewis, who stepped back from the firm in 2020, re-engaged as executive chairman earlier this year but will now formally take the role of CEO and chairman and will lead the drive to scale both vertically and horizontally.

Lewis says that new recruit Hoppmann represents: “the very best of what we look for in a partner. His reputation for integrity and the trust he’s earned in his community reflect exactly what we want Kingsview to stand for.”

Sean McGillivray takes the dual role of chief operating officer and president of Kingsview’s asset management division and will focus on expanding the firm’s national operational platform and deepening its investment management distribution across all channels.

In a major strategic hire, Kingsview welcomes John Belniak as president and chief financial officer, adding his distinguished background in investment banking, corporate development, and private equity to the firm’s leadership.

Al Abaroa has been named president of Kingsview Insurance Services, formerly KTI, with a brief to integrate insurance strategy across the RIA channel.

Kingsview has also shared with InvestmentNews that it is actively investing in physical infrastructure across key markets:

  • Chicago: Real estate expansion is underway to grow the firm’s advisor strategy, asset management, trading, and distribution teams.
  • Fairfield, CT: Construction is underway in Fairfield. The office will anchor all growth including M&A, recruiting and marketing.
  • Grants Pass, OR: Remains the headquarters and operational backbone, continuing to scale service delivery.
