LPL loses $150 million hybrid to Triad

Hybrid adviser Claris Financial, which manages $150 million in advisory and brokerage assets, has moved to the Triad Advisors platform from LPL. Claris, founded in 2009, is based in Glen Allen, Va. Its seven employees include four financial advisers — John Paxton, Daniel F. Murphy, Christopher Farver and Aaron Gibbs — and three staff members. Triad Advisors, headquartered in Atlanta, specializes in serving hybrid RIAs.
