According to a July 2025 analysis by AdvizorPro, women represent approximately 24 percent of the nation's financial advisors – marking the latest point in the story of plateauing inclusion in the profession.
Yet beneath that number, a generation of female financial advisors is quietly building practices of remarkable scale, depth, and client impact.
That's the story at the heart of the InvestmentNews $100M Club: Top Female Advisors 2026 special report, which recognizes 108 female financial advisors across the United States who each individually manage at least $100 million in assets under management (AUM).
To compile the 2026 $100M Club: Top Female Advisors list, InvestmentNews drew nominations from advisors, industry professionals, and clients. All submitted information was verified by the compliance department at each nominee's firm, and selection was based solely on AUM reported between January 1 and December 31, 2025. No fees were required, and no marketing relationship influenced the results.
Among the honorees profiled in this year's report is Carol Mulcahy, a senior wealth advisor at Destiny Wealth Partners in Florida, who has been serving clients since 1985. To help clients navigate retirement and volatility with confidence, she uses a systematic strategy that divides assets by time horizon.
"I use a three-pool strategy," Mulcahy said. "I keep the money clients will need for the next 10 years pretty safe, so no matter what's happening – geopolitically, tariffs, whatever – it's not money they need right now."
Kristen Gratton, a financial advisor at Gratton & Kerr Financial Group in Pennsylvania, has built her practice around a dimension of financial planning she believes most advisors overlook: tax strategy.
"It's not just about getting you the biggest pot of money sitting in an investment account – it's about getting the most spendable income," she explained.
Lauree Harrison, a senior financial advisor at Cascade Guided Wealth in Washington, walked an unconventional path to build her practice. Rather than a hurdle, she views her gender as a competitive edge in serving clients through major life transitions.
"The relationships that we do have are stickier," she said, "because the people who seek us out specifically want the benefit of having a female financial advisor."
