Bill Van Law, head of the RIA division of Raymond James, will leave the firm April 2 to "pursue other personal and professional interests," according to a company release. "I am looking forward to time with my family before pursuing the next chapter in my life and career," Mr. Van Law said in the release. Paul Reilly, the company's chairman and CEO, said that Mr. Van Law made many contributions to the firm, "including the growth and success of the Investment Advisors Division." The firm said it has begun a search process for Mr. Van Law's successor. Mr. Van Law joined Raymond James in 2003 after 18 years with Merrill Lynch, where he started as a financial adviser.
