Ronald Blue & Co.

Georgia's largest registered investment adviser has been delivering wealth management services to clients for three decades based on teachings that are even older — those from the Bible. With about $7.3 billion in assets under management, Atlanta-based Ronald Blue & Co. LLC is focused on helping its 6,000 clients “live purposefully” through sound stewardship of their wealth, said Russell Crosson, president and chief executive. “Our wisdom for money management comes from biblical principles,” he said. “Our clients are attracted to the idea of being good stewards with the wealth they've been entrusted with.” In addition to financial planning and investment management, Ronald Blue helps its clients develop philanthropic plans to support the causes in which they believe, and leave a legacy to future generations, Mr. Crosson said. “Most of our clients are very generous,” he said. “We help them with philanthropic planning so they can be generous in a tax-efficient way.” Ronald Blue founded the fee-only firm in 1979 and retired 11 years ago. The firm has 15 offices around the country.
