SunTrust rep managing $260 million goes indie

Andrew Hill, an adviser whose team managed $260 million in assets at SunTrust Investment Services, has launched a hybrid firm and has affiliated with HighTower. Mr. Hill's firm, Hill Wealth Management, is based in Alpharetta, Ga. Mr. Hill has 24 years of industry experience. He focuses on investment management, asset allocation analysis and retirement planning, and specializes in working with business owners and doctors, as well as with 401(k)/profit sharing and defined benefit plans. He had been with SunTrust since 1997, after starting his career at Smith Barney in 1994 and moving to Dean Witter Reynolds in 1995. "HighTower's commitment to the fiduciary standard aligns with our team's values and the way we approach serving our clients," said Mr. Hill. "It was unequivocally the right place to launch Hill Wealth Management."
