UBS Wealth Management said Wednesday that two advisors who oversaw $640 million in assets at Merrill Wealth Management have joined UBS in Sarasota, Florida.
Brian Mariash and James “Bart” Lowther will operate as Mariash Lowther Wealth Management in Sarasota, Florida. They focus on high-net-worth individuals and families.
Mariash had worked at Merrill since 2008, after starting in the financial services industry in 2001. Lowther joined Merrill in 2010.
They are joined in the move to UBS by advisor Jesse Perez and staffers Shannon Murphy, Dionysios Skaliotis and Sovanna Sok.
