Wells Fargo team managing $1.15 billion exits to Stifel

A five-advisor team managing $1.15 billion at Wells Fargo Advisors in Midland, Michigan, has joined Stifel Nicolaus and opened a firm office there.

The team, which operates as the Stolz-Smith Financial Consulting Group, consists of Doak Stolz, Scott Smith, Ryan Anderson, Dennis Stolz and Jacob Smith.

Doak Stolz had been with Wells Fargo and a predecessor firm since 1986, and Scott Smith since 1989.
