Two former senior vice presidents at UBS have new homes at RIA firms that are undergoing some significant changes.

First, The Sade Group Private Wealth Management, which has been part of the network of firms working with Kestra Financial’s RIA firm Kestra Private Wealth since 2015, has changed its name to Riverside Private Wealth Management.

The rebrand comes as the firm welcomes a new managing partner Worth Trainor, who will work alongside founder and managing director Scott Sade, portfolio manager Jody Zirn, and office manager Robin Miley. Assets under management now exceed $300 million.

“We’re excited to welcome Worth to the team,” said Sade. “Bringing on a partner with such an extensive background will only increase the capabilities we’re able to provide our clients.”

Trainor joins the Stuart, Florida based firm with over two decades as a financial professional including 10 years as a senior vice president at UBS.

“The opportunity to join Scott and his team in an independent setting is so exciting,” said Trainor. “Scott and I are completely aligned in terms of building out the best client experience, providing retirement, investment, estate, insurance and tax services to help our clients achieve success.”

NEWEDGE WEALTH EXPANDS

Meanwhile, at NewEdge Wealth, another former UBS senior vice president has been instrumental in a new office launch.

Industry veteran Christopher Ayer has joined the firm as a principal, establishing the firm’s first New Hampshire office, and adding his specialty experience of working with closely held businesses, especially franchise owners, in wealth protection and tax mitigation strategies.

As well as his experience at UBS and Smith Barney, Ayres was a financial advisor and managing director at Ameriprise Financial Services and was most recently a senior vice president of Wealth Management at Pallas Capital Advisors.

“Chris has established a reputation for helping closely held business owners, executives and high net worth families navigate the complexities of their financial needs. He has joined the NewEdge team to enhance the services and solutions he can deliver to his clients,” said Rob Sechan, Co-Founder and CEO of NewEdge Wealth. “We are excited to welcome him to the firm as he helps us expand into New Hampshire.”

NewEdge Wealth launched in December 2020 and has grown to 14 offices including locations in Atlanta, Miami, Nashville and San Francisco.
