Dynasty Financial's Procyon Partners recruits $420-million adviser
New York-based firm reaches $3 billion under management with latest addition.

New York-based Procyon Private Wealth Partners has pushed its total assets under management to $3 billion with the addition of veteran adviser James Jeffery, who brings with him $420 million from crosstown competitor Solaris Asset Management. Mr. Jeffery, who specializes in working with senior living organizations that operate retirement communities, is described as a "cultural fit" for Procyon, a registered investment adviser with a focus on retirement plans, plan participants and private clients. "From a private-wealth standpoint, Jim's business is very much aligned with our planning and advisory practice," Procyon Partners chief executive Phil Fiore said in a statement.
