The InvestmentNews Awards celebrate advisors and firms that are helping define the future of US wealth management. The program highlights both individual leaders and organizations setting the standard for advice, growth, and client outcomes.
Nominations opened last December 1, 2025, and will run until February 27 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Advisors, home offices, and service partners can submit entries through the InvestmentNews Awards Portal. Here's a quick overview of the different awards.
Behind the scenes, the awards follow a structured, months-long process that combines open nominations, independent research, and detailed submissions. The judging panel is made up of industry leaders with diverse experience across segments.
Excellence Awardees will be announced in April to give the market an early view of standout individuals and firms. Judges then begin formal voting in May. Winners will be announced live at the InvestmentNews Awards ceremony on June 24.
The program is backed by a group of industry sponsors that support the wealth management community. Prudential serves as the event sponsor. Nasdaq is the gold awards partner, with Park Avenue Securities and Thrivent the silver awards sponsors. Cambridge is the social media sponsor. Destiny Family Office is the associate sponsor, building on its close involvement with prior InvestmentNews Awards cycles.

There are dozens of financial advisor and RIA conferences happening all year. This is why picking which events to attend can be challenging. To determine suitable events, start with your business plan, and not the event brochure.
Look for agendas that match your current focus, whether that is technology, advanced planning, or M&A, and confirm that sessions offer CE or skill-based outcomes. Many top advisor conferences highlight their mix of technical content, practice management, and CE as core reasons to attend. Use this as a benchmark when you compare options.
From there, narrow your list to events that attract the right peer group and decision-makers for your firm. Many growth-focused advisors limit attendance to three to five in-person events a year, balancing one tech, one practice‑management, and one investment‑focused conference. This mix keeps your calendar realistic and turns time away from the office into better processes, stronger teams, and sharper advice.
