The significant wealth generated by high achievers in sports and entertainment is a rich client base for specialized firms. And now there’s a new one.
Factory Holdings has launched Factory Capital, an SEC-registered wealth management division aimed at athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs and creators; a client base whose financial complexity increasingly stretches well beyond traditional portfolio management.
The Los Angeles-based RIA is headed by Travis Henry, a Yale graduate and former managing director at both Morgan Stanley and Cresset, who has spent his career guiding athletes, executives and multi-generational families through complex wealth decisions and business transactions.
"Our clients aren't simply investing capital, they're building businesses, creating intellectual property, influencing markets, and shaping culture," said Henry. "They need advisors who understand how wealth, ownership, opportunity, and influence intersect."
Services span wealth management, family-office solutions, strategic planning and access to public and private investment opportunities through networks across philanthropy, finance, sports and media.
Factory Capital sits within the broader Factory Holdings platform, which encompasses wealth management, private investments, media, technology and philanthropy.
"Factory was built on a simple belief: the people who create culture should also own the value it generates," said Keenan Beasley, Founder and CEO of Factory Holdings. "Factory Capital extends that mission through institutional wealth management designed specifically for athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and creators. Our advantage isn't simply investment management, it's our understanding of the communities and clients we serve, the opportunities they create, and the relationships that drive long-term value."
On the infrastructure side, Factory Capital has partnered with Dynasty Financial Partners for technology, securities, compliance and operational support, and has selected Fidelity Investments as its custody provider.
"Travis brings the experience, judgment, and client-first mindset that define great advisors, while Keenan and the Factory team have built a powerful platform at the intersection of culture, business, and capital," said Shirl Penney, founder and CEO of Dynasty Financial Partners. "What impressed us most is that Factory Capital is not being built as a standalone advisory firm. It is part of a broader ecosystem designed to help create opportunities, deepen relationships, and deliver value for clients in ways that traditional wealth management firms simply cannot. We believe that model positions Factory Capital for significant long-term growth."
Dynasty's platform currently supports more than $100 billion in assets under administration across the US.
