Five veteran advisers who collectively managed $1.3 billion at Merrill Lynch have joined UBS Wealth Management in New York City and Paramus, New Jersey.
Peter E. Murray, David W. Peeler and Andrew V. DiPaola will be based at the firm’s office at 299 Park Avenue, and Gregory J. Amerkanian and Michael C. Gogliormella will be based in Paramus, the firm said in a press release Wednesday.
Murray spent the last 24 years at Merrill; Peeler, 11 years; DiPaola, 13 years; Amerkanian, 29 years; and Gogliormella, 19 years.
The San Francisco-based startup's Series A funding, with support from Schwab and Edward Jones Ventures, will reinforce its role in the coming $124 trillion wealth transfer.
