RBC Wealth Management has recruited a pair of Bank of America Private Bank advisors who oversaw more than $2 billion in client assets at their former firm.

It is the second advisor move from the private bank to the firm's La Jolla, California branch in roughly a month.

The West Coast move brings Lisa Behun to RBC as a financial advisor and managing director, while Dirk Harris joins as a financial advisor and senior vice president. Joining the two are senior financial associate Kevin Wilson and senior client associate Erin Marshall.

Behun works with high-net-worth families and business owners through an approach that combines wealth strategy, financial planning and credit with guidance rooted in behavioral finance. Harris, who has more than 25 years in the business, focuses on helping affluent families and business owners untangle complicated finances and plan for goals decades out.

"I am thrilled that Lisa and Dirk decided to join RBC Wealth Management," said Marcel TenBerge, Southern California complex director at RBC. This team takes a comprehensive approach to wealth planning, and is excited to leverage the RBC Wealth Management platforms to take their client service to the next level."

Just last month, the La Jolla office hired Damon Couch, another Bank of America Private Bank advisor, according to RBC.

Before that, RBC's summer run of recruitment included defecting billion dollar-plus teams from Stifel and UBS, who joined the firm in Dallas and Palm Springs, respectively.
