Inc. today confirmed that chief executive John Mack, a registered Republican, has thrown his support behind Democratic New York Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton in the 2008 presidential election, according to published reports. Mr. Mack is chairman of the board of trustees of New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and his involvement with healthcare is one reason for the endorsement, a source familiar with the situation told CNNMoney.com. Mr. Mack raised at least $200,000 for George. W. Bush's reelection, according to BusinessWeek.
