Average production of financial advisers
This Friday, Wells Fargo & Co. will release its earnings, kicking off the reports from bank and wealth management firms, and undoubtedly its executives will be touting record revenues and earnings, as they did throughout 2021.
For context, InvestmentNews reviewed company filings from the fall to see how much annual revenue, in the form of advisory fees and sales commissions, financial advisers at publicly traded firms generated. Not all publicly traded firms are on the list. Morgan Stanley, for example, used to report the average revenue per financial advisers but stopped about a year ago.
All figures are for the 12 months ending Sept. 30. All information comes from company filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission or directly from the firm.
