The wealth management industry’s female leaders will converge on the Women Advisor Summit in Manhattan next month for a day of practical insights and insightful conversations about the key issues in the wealth management industry.
The InvestmentNews Women Advisor Summit will take place on Nov. 5 at 583 Park Avenue in New York City. The event will feature more than 20 speakers across more than 10 content sessions. These will focus on topics such as the future of advice, deepening relationships with women clients, building businesses that thrive beyond a single advisor, and forging leadership pipelines.
“For me, it’s an extraordinary gathering of the top women in the industry,” Rita Robbins, managing partner of Affiliated Advisors, told InvestmentNews. “We have time to learn, share ideas, and explore successes.”
The Women Advisor Summit will conclude with the Women to Watch Awards, which honor the most influential women in wealth management. Prudential Wealth Advisors is the headline partner for the events.
Robbins was the recipient of the “Alexandra Armstrong Award for Lifetime Achievement” in 2023.
Suzanne Siracuse, CEO of Suzanne Siracuse Consulting, created the concept of the Women Advisor Summit more than 10 years ago, and also created the concept of the Women to Watch awards. “When my former team and I created the Women Advisor Summit in 2014, we wanted to give female financial advisors something they rarely experienced at industry conferences, a room where they were the majority, their voices were front and center, and the conversations focused on helping them grow their businesses, advance their careers, and build meaningful relationships,” she told InvestmentNews. “More than a decade later, the need for that community, connection, and shared learning is as important as ever, and I’m incredibly proud of the impact this event continues to have on the women shaping the future of our profession.”
Featured speakers include Racquel Oden, US head of wealth, premier and global private banking at HSBC, Carolyn McClanahan, founder of Life Planning Partners, Stacy Francis, CEO of Francis Financial, Cathy Curtis, founder and wealth partner at Curtis Financial Planning, Cecilia Williams, chief operating officer at Halbert Hargrove, Liz Miller, president and founder of Summit Place Financial Advisors, and Lisa Roberts, head of wealth management at Wilmington Trust.
There will also be a fireside chat with Cathy Curtis of Curtis Financial Planning, Shannon Larson, president of AE Wealth Management, and Cary Carbonaro, managing wealth advisor at Ashton Thomas Private Wealth that will address leadership lessons learned through challenges and change, as well as strategies to sustain success.
