Captrust's John Curry says other RIAs could easily follow his firm's lead in using podcasts as a simple and efficient communications tool.


Financial advisers looking for a better way to get the word out, either internally or externally, might want to check out how Captrust is using podcasts to reach its 450 employees in 35 different office locations.
John Curry, senior director of marketing at the $250 billion Raleigh, N.C.-based registered investment adviser, says Captrust started doing podcasts two years ago, and the popularity has exceeded all expectations.
“In a typical quarter, we’ll do about 22 podcasts on a range of topics,” Mr. Curry said.
