Pimco settles with SEC for nearly $20 million

Regulator said fund company misled investors about the performance of its actively managed Total Return ETF.

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced that Pimco will pay nearly $20 million to settle charges that it misled investors about the performance of Pimco's Total Return ETF (BOND), one its first actively managed exchange-traded funds.
