UBS duo managing $265 million goes indie with LPL

UBS $265 million

Leslie Shenkler and Daryl Lipkin are setting up shop as Alcove Private Wealth in Princeton, New Jersey.

Advisers Leslie Shenkler and Daryl Lipkin, who had managed $265 million at UBS in Princeton, New Jersey, have formed Alcove Private Wealth and affiliated with LPL Financial, using the firm’s service program for breakaway brokers.

Shenkler, who specializes in responsible investing, and Lipkin, who holds a certification in retirement planning, have been partners since 2010. They had been affiliated with UBS since 2012.

Shenkler has 23 years of experience, according to her BrokerCheck report, and Lipkin has spent 13 years as an adviser, after spending 20 years in corporate finance.

They are joined in the move by client services manager Eileen Smith.
