Tolleson Wealth Management of Dallas has promoted Philip J. Durst, 44, to chief investment officer, from managing director of investments.

He will oversee the firm’s investment re-search process, asset allocation and overall portfolio management.

The Private Client Reserve, a division of U.S. Bank Wealth Management of Chicago, has hired Christopher Kurimay, 43, and Scott F. Fitzgerald, 40, as wealth management advisers.

Mr. Kurimay will provide clients with personalized wealth management services in Chicago.

Previously, he was a team partner at UBS Private Wealth Management in Chicago.

Additionally, the company has hired Mr. Fitzgerald as a wealth management adviser in New York.

He is responsible for providing personalized wealth management services to clients.

Previously, Mr. Fitzgerald was a senior relationship manager with HSBC Bank USA NA in New York.

VII Peaks Capital LLC of San Francisco has hired Rudy Galera, 46, as chief operating officer and chief compliance officer.

He is responsible for daily operations and oversight of the investment platform and business operations.

Previously, Mr. Galera was the chief administrative officer of Harris myCFO LLC in Palo Alto, Calif.

H. Beck Inc. of Bethesda, Md., an independent broker-dealer, has promoted James H. Dresselaers, 56, to president, from exe- cutive vice president and chief operating officer.

He is responsible for recruiting financial advisers, and maintaining and building the company’s service, product and technology platform.

The Investment Management Consultants Association of Greenwood Village, Colo., has hired Tim Whiting, 50, as national sales director in Ridgewood, N.J.

He is responsible for promoting the firm and increasing the usage of the company’s offerings among major clients.

Previously, Mr. Whiting was vice president of business development for Advisor Impact in Toronto.

Aria Retirement Solutions of San Francisco has hired Kevin Kelly, 54, as senior vice president.

He is responsible for internal sales support and operational activities for the firm’s investment adviser, distribution and platform partners.

Previously, Mr. Kelly supported the insurance needs of retail clients and registered investment advisers at The Charles Schwab Corp. of San Francisco.

National Planning Corp. of Santa Monica, Calif., has promoted Scott Montgomery, 47, to senior vice president of new-business development, from vice president.

He is responsible for recruitment and leading the new-business- development team.

Horizons ETFs Management (USA) LLC of New York has hired Michael Fardy, 43, as executive vice president and head of sales.

He is responsible for running sales and distribution for Horizon’s exchange-traded-fund business in the United States.

Previously, Mr. Fardy was a director at BlackRock Inc. of New York in charge of building the footprint of the iShares ETFs in the Northeastern United States.

OneAmerica Financial Partners Inc. of Indianapolis has promoted Scott Davison, 49, to president, from executive vice president.

He has also been appointed president of American United Life Insurance Co. and American United Mutual Insurance Holding Co., both of Indianapolis.

He will give counsel on enterprisewide initiatives and oversee the investment, information technology and corporate marketing departments.
