Cresset Asset Management acquires $500 million RIA

Evanston Advisors increases firm's market share in Chicago area.

Cresset Asset Management, a national registered investment advisory firm managing almost $4 billion from its headquarters in Chicago, has acquired Evanston Advisors, an Evanston, Ill.-based RIA managing $500 million in assets.

Evanston’s 11 team members, including principals Nathan Snodgrass, Dave Jackson and Keith Cantrell, who co-founded the firm in 1982, will join Cresset.

Cresset was founded in 2017.
