Dissatisfaction among financial advisers is getting worse, in part as a result of the pandemic and technology shortfalls, according to J.D. Power’s annual survey. In fact, J.D. Power estimates that 15% of wirehouse advisers and 7% of independent advisers are at risk of leaving their firms in the next two years.
The 2022 U.S. Financial Advisor Satisfaction Survey is based on a survey of 3,039 employee and independent financial advisers conducted from January through May. The survey looks at six factors: compensation; leadership and culture; operational support; products and marketing; professional development; and technology.
