On the other end of the demographic spectrum, only 53% of the population has a good idea as to how long they’ll likely live — a key piece of information that everyone needs for informed retirement planning, according to new research from the Global Financial Literacy Excellence Center.
Women have a much stronger grip on their likely lifespan, with 42% demonstrating a clear understanding of mortality, compared to 32% of men.
