Investors prefer advisers to algorithms
As financial advisers cope with careening markets and stressed clients, they may be heartened by a report showing that investors do value the human touch. A survey of more than 2,000 U.S. adults conducted by the Harris Poll for NerdWallet found investors have a clear preference for working with a human adviser rather than a robo-adviser. Respondents who have an adviser are also more confident about the outlook for their investments than those who use a robo-adviser.
