New Year’s resolutions from top financial experts
As is often the case with best laid plans, New Year’s Resolutions tend to be quickly forgotten; without even being consciously aware of it, many of us just jump back on our old proverbial exercise wheels and spend our days reacting to the priorities others place upon us rather than enacting those priorities we “resolved” to accomplish. As we wind down nearly a year of working from home, a year where so many choices seemed to be beyond our control, I’m prioritizing following through on this year’s resolution, which is to carve time out of each week to work on organizational development. Redtail is already quite adept at OD, but it’s important that we continually give our processes a set of fresh eyes to make sure that we’re communicating effectively, improving constantly, and creating further opportunities for our employees as well as further efficiencies for our customers. On a personal note, I’m resolved to exercise more (though probably not on a wheel) and to be on my phone less!
