Finance Logix has made available a major upgrade to the core of its financial planning platform.
With release 3.3 advisers will have increased ability to customize their analyses and planning scenarios with clients.
The application’s integrations with CashEdge, an account aggregation provider, will give advisers using Finance Logix direct access to services such as DST Vision, Fidelity Advisor Channel, Schwab Institutional, Scottrade Advisor, and others.

Here are the guts of their prepared statement as is for now:

Customizable Report Sections – to save time, advisers can add custom text section anywhere in the reports and save them as part of report templates, which can be used later with other clients.
New Reports – to enhance communication of key financial planning analyses, two new reports are available for displaying cash flow and net worth. Advisors will have the ability to choose the level of detail for these reports, as well as select ranges of years to be included in the report.
Advisor Level Data Aggregation with CashEdge – to save the advisor and their clients’ time, it is now possible to access Advisor Level feeds from providers such as DST-Vision, which allow the advisor to import all of the assets under their management without the need for the clients to manually enter the data or set up online access through Finance Logix Client Portal. Additionally, new enhancements to data aggregation framework will provide advisors with the ability to over-ride certain fields to ensure quality of data.
Other enhancements in Release 3.3 focus on making the system easier to use, including a new Help system that uses advanced HTML programming to include video tutorials and other rich media displays.
