Summit Brokerage Services Inc. of Boca Raton, Fla., has hired Rob Crowe, 38, as executive vice president and chief marketing officer, and Glen McRary, 41, as executive vice president and chief business development officer.

Mr. Crowe is responsible for overseeing practice development, marketing and communications, and products and services. Previously, he was a director of product services and practice management at ProEquities Inc. in Birmingham, Ala.

Mr. McRary is responsible for the recruiting and transition teams. Previously, he was vice president and director of recruiting at Symetra Investment Services Inc. in Bellevue, Wash.

U.S. Bancorp of Minneapolis has hired Kane Phillips, 48, as wealth management consultant for The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank.

He is responsible for creating connections with new and existing clients in the Puget Sound area of Seattle.

Previously, Mr. Phillips was market director in Seattle for Washington Wealth Management of San Diego.

U.S. Bank Wealth Management has promoted Bryan Benedict, 39, to private-banking managing director for The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank, from private banker.

He is responsible for leading a private-banking team that caters to high-net-worth individuals and families.

Triad Advisors Inc. of Norcross, Ga., has hired Lyndsay Korbieh, 36, as compliance manager and Missy Nelson, 31, as a product- marketing specialist.

Ms. Korbieh is responsible for conducting branch exams, reviewing ad- vertising and being a re- source for financial advisers. Previously, she was a branch-office examiner at FSC Securities Corp. in Atlanta.

Ms. Nelson is responsible for research, marketing and assisting advisers with product questions. Previously, she was director of operations and marketing in Atlanta with Innovative Financial Group of Nashville, Tenn.

Focus Financial Partners of New York has hired five staff members.

Robert Freedman, 34, is a senior manager of Focus Connections in San Francisco, responsible for creating digital-marketing, social-media and business development strategies to financial advisers looking to create independent registered investment adviser firms. Previously, he was a member of the marketing team at HighTower Advisors in Chicago.

Ilse Hamblin, 26, is manager of information sharing, responsible for sharing best practices and expanding firmwide practice groups in investments, marketing, technology and operations. Previously, she was an event planner for Annie Jepthas Events in Cape Town, South Africa.

Pradeep Jayaraman, 35, is a vice president based in San Francisco, responsible for business development, acquisitions and recruiting advisers and RIAs. Previously, he was a vice president at The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. of New York, specializing in mergers, acquisitions, and debt and equity offerings.

Michael McGowan, 28, is assistant general counsel, responsible for internal and external legal affairs, strengthening the compliance program and supporting business development. Previously, he was a New York-based corporate associate with a focus on mergers, acquisitions and private equity at Vinson & Elkins of Houston.

Anita Venkiteswaren, 29, is a vice president, who will provide business development strategies to Focus Successions, a program that helps advisers with succession planning. Previously, she worked on sourcing and structuring transactions for CI Capital Partners in New York.

B.C. Ziegler and Co. of Chicago has hired Justin Frys, 39, as senior vice president and branch manager of the firm’s Minnetonka, Minn., office.

He is re- sponsible for serving clients and building the company’s Minnetonka presence through recruiting.

Previously, Mr. Frys oversaw recruiting and sales activities as a divisional vice president at Questar Capital Corp. in Minneapolis.
