Wells Fargo recruits brokers with combined $807 million of assets from JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley

The Anderson Remchuck Wealth Management Group managed $700 million at JPMorgan.

Wells Fargo & Co. has recruited a trio of brokers from JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Morgan Stanley who manage a combined $807 million.

Laurisa Anderson and Steven Remchuk joined Wells Fargo Advisors in Tulsa, Okla., from JPMorgan, where they most recently managed about $700 million in combined brokerage and banking assets for clients, according to a spokesperson for Wells Fargo. The Anderson Remchuck Wealth Management Group joined Aug. 19 and reports to Tulsa branch manager John Gero.

Kristen Chambers, a spokesperson for JPMorgan, didn’t immediately respond to a phone call and email seeking comment on the departure of the advisers.

Kenneth Ibbetson also moved over to Wells Fargo on Aug. 19, joining the brokerage firm in Brea, Calif., from Morgan Stanley, where he managed about $107 million in client assets. He reports to Alan Hall, the brokerage firm’s complex manager in Anaheim, Calif.

Wells Fargo’s national brokerage business announced earlier this month that David Kowach replaced Mary Mack as president. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kowach led business development for Wells Fargo Advisors, responsible for the recruitment of brokers, growth strategies and national sales.

Christine Jockle, a spokesperson for Morgan Stanley, confirmed the departure of Mr. Ibbetson, and declined further comment.
