Ameritas acquires record keeper

Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida-based BlueStar Retirement Services also serves as a third-party administrator and provides multiple employer plans.

Ameritas Life Insurance has acquired BlueStar Retirement Services, a Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida-based record keeper and third-party administrator. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In addition to traditional 401(k) plans, BlueStar is a provider of multiple employer plans, serving about 75,000 participants and administering more than $4 billion in plan assets.
