John W. Zimmerman will leave the firm's institutional asset management division.

John W. Zimmerman, managing director of Janus Capital Group’s institutional asset management division, will leave the company, effective Aug. 24.

In the meantime, Gary Black, CEO of Denver-based Janus Capital Group, will fill in for Mr. Zimmerman as the firm searches for a successor.
Mr. Zimmerman has been with Janus since 2004. Prior to becoming managing director, he was senior vice president of institutional asset management.
