Janus unveils long-term-growth fund

The fund will leverage international investment ideas through the Denver-based investment firm’s equity research team.

Janus Capital Group Inc. today announced the launching of a long-term-growth portfolio that will invest directly in a select number of international companies.
The fund, Janus Adviser International Forty Fund (JFFAX), is a concentrated portfolio that seeks long-term growth by investing in 30 to 50 companies across developed and emerging markets.
The fund will leverage international investment ideas through the Denver-based investment firm’s equity research team, according to Janus co-chief investment officer Jonathan Coleman.
“By concentrating the fund’s investments in a limited number of holdings, we think our most compelling stock picks could possibly make more meaningful contributions to the fund’s overall returns,” he said in a statement.
The fund will be managed by Laurent Saltiel, who is also the co-manager of the Janus Adviser International Equity Fund.
Janus had $187.6 billion in assets under management as of March 31.
