Jefferies hires international COO

Jefferies Group Inc. announced today that it has hired Justin van Wijngaarden as chief operating officer and chief financial officer of its Jefferies International Ltd. subsidiary.
Based in London, he will be responsible for managing the financial and operational infrastructure of Jefferies in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Mr. van Wijngaarden was most recently the executive director and chief of staff at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. in London.
Mr. van Wijngaarden began his career as an audit manager for KPMG International in Amsterdam.
Jefferies Group is based in New York.
