LPL loses hybrid group managing $750 million to Triad

Pinnacle Private Wealth switches B-D and hybrid RIA platforms.

Pinnacle Private Wealth, a hybrid firm managing more than $750 million in assets, has switched its broker-dealer and hybrid RIA custodial platforms from LPL Financial to Triad Advisors.

Pinnacle makes its headquarters in Woburn, Mass., outside Boston, and is led by advisers Dan Cotton and Myles Dudley.

Mr. Cotton began his securities career in 1991 and worked at 11 firms before affiliating with LPL in 2009.

Mr. Dudley began his career at Quick & Reilly in 2003, moved to Citigroup in 2007 and affiliated with LPL in 2009.
