Merrill Lynch duo managing $140 million goes hybrid

Atlanta-based Scott McQuilken and Richard Reasoner affiliate with Arkadios Capital.

Scott McQuilken and Richard Reasoner have left Merrill Lynch in Atlanta, where they managed $140 million in assets, and affiliated with Arkadios Capital.

The team, which serves 65 families, will operate as a hybrid.

Mr. McQuilken began his securities career at RAF Financial in 1995 and moved to First Union in 1997. Affiliated with SouthTrust Securities from 2000 to 2003, he then joined Wachovia Securities, moving to Merrill Lynch in 2008.

Mr. Reasoner was with Citigroup from 2004 to 2006, SunTrust from 2006 to 2008, and Banc of America Investment Services for a year until joining Merrill Lynch in 2009.
