Grubb & Ellis Securities Inc. of Santa Ana, Calif., has hired Ambrose S. Aston, 36, and Samuel Byram, 39, as regional vice presidents, and Joseph Millo, 42, as vice president of national accounts

Grubb & Ellis Securities Inc. of Santa Ana, Calif., has hired Ambrose S. Aston, 36, and Samuel Byram, 39, as regional vice presidents, and Joseph Millo, 42, as vice president of national accounts.

Mr. Aston, who is based in Atlanta, is responsible for raising equity in Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee for the company’s two publicly registered non-traded real estate investment trusts, Grubb & Ellis Apartment REIT Inc. and Grubb & Ellis Healthcare REIT II Inc. Previously, he was a divisional vice president in Atlanta for Hartman Securities Inc. of Houston, where he helped create and implement investment products, including a REIT, a Regulation D private placement and a tenant-in-common offering.

Mr. Byram, who is based in Baltimore, is responsible for raising equity in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia for the Grubb & Ellis Apartment REIT and the Grubb & Ellis Healthcare REIT II. Previously, he was the head of East Coast sales of company investment programs in Baltimore for W.P. Carey & Co. LLC of New York.

Mr. Millo, who is based in Hartford, Conn., is responsible for the management of Grubb & Ellis Securities’ relationships with broker-dealers in the Eastern United States. Previously, he was director of national accounts in Hartford for Priority Capital Inc. of Melrose, Mass., where he was responsible for introducing the company as a new distributor of non-traded REIT products to independent broker-dealers.

FSC Securities Corp. of Atlanta has hired John Dillon, 44, as chief compliance officer and Rick Kundracik, 60, as senior vice president of recruiting and national sales.

Mr. Dillon is responsible for overseeing and managing compliance issues, and ensuring that FSC complies with regulatory requirements.

Previously, he was director of the sales practice surveillance unit at Citigroup Inc.’s Smith Barney unit in New York, responsible for maintaining compliance with the firm’s policies throughout the organization’s 625 branch offices and among its 14,000 representatives.

Based in Denver, Mr. Kundracik is responsible for all recruiting-related activities at FSC. He also manages the business development team, which is responsible for practice management, branch relationships, revenue growth and retention.

Previously, Mr. Kundracik was vice president of institutional sales in Denver with WBI Investments of Little Silver, N.J.

Capital Investment Cos. of Wilson, N.C. has hired Bob Andrews, 59, as a registered representative.

He is responsible for retirement plans, individual money management and personal financial planning.

Previously, Mr. Andrews was a registered rep in Wilson at Park Avenue Securities LLC of Towson, Md., responsible for retirement plans, money management, business succession planning and benefits.
