Roof Advisory Group Inc. of Harrisburg, Pa., has promoted Kevin S. Roof, 55, to chief operating officer.

He will maintain his role as chief compliance officer.

Mr. Roof is responsible for all business operations and compliance issues for the firm.

Additionally, the company has promoted Bradley S. Newman, 43, to senior adviser and director of business development, from his role managing client servicing and financial planning.

His duties include asset management, overseeing client service and business development.

Raymond James Financial Services Inc. of St. Petersburg, Fla., has hired Kevin Monaco, 43, as a branch manager.

He is responsible for establishing and expanding the firm’s employee branches in the San Diego area, where he is based.

Previously, Mr. Monaco was executive director and business development manager in Los Angeles for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management of New York.

Lincoln Financial Network of Philadelphia has hired Gene Mulligan, 49, as senior vice president for investment products and platforms.

He will lead the firm’s wealth management platform, including the managed-account strategy, products and operations.

Previously, Mr. Mulligan was managing director and head of business strategy and development for Merrill Lynch Global Investment Solutions in Jersey City, N.J., with a focus on building the managed-account business.

Geode Capital Management of Boston has hired David F. Watts, 40, as director of consultant relations.

He is responsible for strengthening the company’s relationships with investment consultants.

Previously, Mr. Watts was managing director of consultant relations at Mellon Capital Management Corp. in Boston.

U.S. Bank Wealth Management of Milwaukee has hired Alex Kramer, 38, as a wealth management adviser and managing director for The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank.

He is responsible for providing clients with tailored wealth management services.

Previously, Mr. Kramer was the head of sales for Johnson Bank Wealth Management in Racine, Wis.

Reliance Trust Co. of Atlanta has hired Martin Campbell, 56, and Brian Campbell, 44, as regional vice presidents and national collective-investment-trust-fund sales representatives.

Martin Camp-bell will work on the development and distribution of Reliance’s collective investment trusts among 401(k) plan advisers and other retirement professionals in the Midwest. He will be based in Chicago.

Previously, he was a Chicago-based trust consultant with Hand Benefits & Trust Co. of Houston.

Brian Camp- bell is responsible for the development and distribution of CITs in the Southern United States. He will be based in Atlanta.

Previously, he was the managing director of sales in the Eastern region for Wells Real Estate Funds in Atlanta.

Securities America Inc. of La Vista, Neb., has hired John Carruth, 38, as a senior regional director.

He is responsible for recruiting and consulting for the company’s branch office development team, primarily in the Southern United States.

Previously, Mr. Carruth was senior vice president of national recruiting for Williams Financial Group in Dallas.

Morgan Stanley Wealth Management of New York has hired Jeff Stein, 36, as a vice president and senior analyst for stable-value funds.

He is responsible for researching and evaluating stable-value investment managers and their products, as well as publishing white papers on the asset class.

Previously, Mr. Stein structured and marketed stable-value wraps in the global markets division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York.
