Pershing hooks up to iPhone

Pershing announced that its broker-dealer customers can now access its NetExchange Pro online account management platform on the Apple iPhone.

Pershing LLC, a subsidiary of Bank of New York Mellon Corp., announced that its broker-dealer customers can now access its NetExchange Pro online account management platform on the Apple iPhone.
The Jersey City, N.J.-based provider of financial business solutions said that its NetExchange Pro online account management platform is utilized by over 90,000 investment professionals and provides access to an array of financial products, services and tools.
Using the Safari web browser on the Apple iPhone, investment professionals can view their clients’ account, balance information and investment holdings with the same level of security and encryption offered through Pershing’s other products.
The product also allows investment professionals to also access commission summaries and view the day’s best- and worst- performing equities.
The Bank of New York Mellon has more than $20 trillion in assets under custody and administration and more than $1 trillion in assets under management.
