Raymond James nabs team managing $640 million

The four-adviser group is leaving Northwestern Mutual Co.

Chris Messick, David Peacock, Alex Taylor and Matt Sibley, who managed $640 million at Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, have gone independent and affiliated with Raymond James.

The team, which operates as Messick Peacock & Associates, is based in Dallas.

Mr. Messick spent 27 years at Northwestern Mutual Investment Services, while Mr. Peacock spent 22 years at the firm. Making the move with them is their five-person executive and administrative team.
