RBC Capital hires global investment head

RBC Capital Markets, the investment banking division of Royal Bank of Canada, has added Tim Chapman as managing director of global investment banking.

RBC Capital Markets, the investment banking division of Royal Bank of Canada, has added Tim Chapman as managing director of global investment banking.
Based in London, he will lead the company’s international energy business in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the former Soviet Union.
Mr. Chapman will also help build the company’s business on a global scale, working with the division’s North American energy teams.
Previously, Mr. Chapman was a managing director at CIBC World Markets.
There, he led the European oil and gas team.
RBC Capital Markets has also hired Louise Mooney and Robert Gair as associates in the global investment banking energy team.
Both will report to Mr. Chapman.
