News of a second stock repurchase program in 18 months gave the Saddle Brook, N.J., firm’s battered shares a boost. The company – whose Troika Russia Fund lost almost half its assets between July and August – saw the price of its thinly traded stock rise 51% to $5 last week, from $3.13 the prior week. But that’s still a far cry from its 52-week high of $10.02 last October.
