Team managing $350 million at Northwestern Mutual joins Commonwealth

Father-and-son Spiegelman Wealth Management is based in Lafayette, Calif.

Spiegelman Wealth Management, which manages $350 million in assets in Lafayette, Calif., has switched affiliation from Northwestern Mutual to Commonwealth Financial Network.

The hybrid team is led by Alan Spiegelman and his son Adam, and also consists of two associates and a business development director.

The elder Mr. Spiegelman began his securities career in 1987 at a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo. He joined Robert Baird, then a unit of Northwestern Mutual, in 1989.

Adam Spiegelman joined his father in business in 2004.
