UBS team managing $738 million near Detroit leaves for Raymond James

Eleven-member group will join RJ's employee unit in Birmingham, Mich.

A team of six advisers and five staff members who managed $738 million at UBS in Birmingham, Mich., have joined the employee unit of Raymond James.

The group, which includes financial advisers John Schindler, Jeffrey Davies, Scott Bennett, Chuck Phillipson, Christian Allen and Austin Farah, now operates as Peninsula Wealth Management of Raymond James.

Mr. Schindler has been in the financial services industry since 1994. He was an adviser at Smith Barney from 1996 to 2009, when he joined UBS Financial Services.

Mr. Davies began his career at UBS in 2011.

Mr. Bennett worked at EF Hutton and its successor firms from 1987 until 2008, and then spent 10 years at UBS.

Mr. Phillipson began his career 23 years ago at Prudential, and later joined UBS where he spent 13 years. Mr. Allen joined the team at UBS in 2015, and Mr. Farah in 2017.
