J.D. Power and Associates has launched its 2011 Financial Advisor Satisfaction Study, which will measure the satisfaction of advisers with their firms.
The results of the study, to be released in mid-March, will feature separate rankings for firms in the independent and employee channels.
“The survey will be in the field for the next four to five weeks and we invite all advisers to respond,” said David Lo, a director in the firm’s investment services area.
In the firm’s 2010 survey, Edward Jones ranked highest in satisfaction among employee advisers and Commonwealth Financial Network was No. 1 in the independent channel. Responses from more than 2,800 advisers were included in last year’s study.
