The Elder Planning Specialist Program is a 10-week online program that helps financial planners to meet the needs of aging clients.

The Financial Planning Association is partnering to offer the Elder Planning Specialist Program to its members to help financial planners meet the needs of their older clients.

The 10-week online program, powered by FPA’s online learning platform, was created by Annalee Kruger and Bob Mauterstock, co-founders of Plan4Life, the Financial Planning Association said in a press release Thursday.

The program utilizes experts in several fields to present video programs that cover such areas as legal planning, long-term care planning, end-of-life planning and running a family meeting.

The program, which will start March 27, will include weekly quizzes and a final exam, and qualifies for 10 CFP CE credits.
