Hightower takes stake in $2.7 billion RIA

Purchase, New York-based Altium Wealth Management specializes in direct indexing.

Hightower, the Chicago-based stakeholder in several wealth management firms, has made an investment in Altium Wealth Management, a Purchase, New York-based registered investment adviser managing $2.7 billion.

The specifics of Hightower’s investment were not disclosed.

Altium specializes in low-cost, tax-efficient investing and offers a proprietary direct indexing tool which will be made available to Hightower advisers.
