About 40 Under 40

The InvestmentNews 40 Under 40 project shines a spotlight on the tremendous potential in the financial advice industry by finding often unrecognized young talent doing remarkable things.

Key criteria editorial staff have used to weigh the average 1,000 nominations received each of this project’s five years are: accomplishment to date, contribution to the industry, leadership and promise.

But it’s not just about the future. Our 40 advisers and associated professionals are making a difference today. Their stories will enlighten and entertain, as well as portray the best of what this profession can be.

Honorees in the class of 2018 are every bit as impressive as our previous four classes. We had a tough time narrowing the pool to just 40 — and that’s good news. Many of those coming up through the ranks whose nominations we read have encouraging tales to tell and important lessons to impart. Ask a young person in your office what they think the future holds for financial advice, and really listen.
