Fund firm will use tools to increase personalization of its retirement accounts.

Franklin Templeton has selected Ascensus, a large independent record-keeper and third-party administrator, to host its managed account services offering.

Ascensus said it began expanding its managed account services in September 2020.

“As the appetite for saver personalization continues to grow, Ascensus has positioned itself to support an enhanced level of choice via our open-architecture approach,” said Jason Crane, Ascensus’ head of retirement distribution.
